The button-tape

At hemdwerk, you can choose between three variants of button-tapes: the subtle seamless variant without placket, the classically button-tape with placket, or hidden buttons.

The seamless button-tape (french type)

This is undoubtedly the most elegant way to close his shirt: the buttons are attached visibly on a seamless button-tape with no placket.

The classic button-tape with placket

Our shirts are equipped by default with a classic button-tape with placket, the buttons are attached visibly. This classic button-tape has a band of fabric on the front of the shirt. This lends additional support for the shirt.

Hidden buttons

In this variant, the buttons are hidden by an extra band of fabric.
The button-tape without plackte with hidden button is used on very special occasions (eg weddings).
