Information about taking measure
Each shirt is made individually just for you. Therefore every shirt is linked to a measure-set.
What is a measure-set?
A measure-set contains your personal measurements. To produce a real tailor-made shirt that you designed, we need you to create a so-called measure-set. You can do this in the measure-set management or out of the configurator.
You can save as many sets in your account as you like, meaning you can assign different sizes to your shirts. This makes sense if you want to order a casual shirt and also a business shirt or you may want to order several shirts for different people.
The measure-sets remain stored for you and are available for future orders.
To ensure consistent measurements with subsequent orders you should only use body measurements for the first order.
Illustration:
You take the measure by yourself and save the sizes as a a body-size measure-set. By placing your order a production-size measure-set is created out of the body-size measure-set. This includes the final dimensions, after which your shirt will be manufactured. Now there are two existing measure-sets - a body-size measure-set and and a production-size measure-set. If you want to make changes to your sizes later on, please edit your production-size measure set. You can now specify the exact changes in centimeters. The body-size measure-set can not be edited anymore. If you delete the production-size measure-set, the associated body-size measure-set will be deleted, too.
Which type of measure-set should I choose?
If you own a shirt that fits you well, then copying its sizes is the best way. If not, a second person can easily take your sizes.
Please only select the last type of measure-set "dress-size" if you have no way or no time to take measurements at all. Because in most cases a tailored shirt just fits better than every shirt order by dress-size.
Differences between measure-sets
